Newbie Training 101 Interview
March 6, 2009 by Herschyf16
This Audio post is great for Newbies, Intermediate, and
even experienced Marketers.
It was Primarily focused towards Newbies but
there is a ton of great “Get off your Ass”
motivation and guidance in this 75 minute interview.
I even give up a few of my personal
secrets as we go through the interview.
We accomplished the interview via Skype
between Europe and the USA and it has a
fewdrop offs but I was able to splice it all
together pretty well. Being the usual
Herschy talking about marketing I get a
little excited and tend to talk a little fast.
But hey that’s me and I’ve accepted it.
Completely Lost on where to Start?
Here’s some guidance to invest little to
nothing and make Money Online.
Affiliate Marketing Basics
Step 1 Set up a free website or blog. I recommend
TrafficTrapperz.com ,HubPages, Squidoo,
weebly, wix, and WordPress.
Step 2 Sell affiliate products to get started. Using affiliate
products allows you to start your business without having
to buy, store, or send out inventory. The merchant handles
all of these details.
Try ClickBank.com or Paydotcom.com or CommissionJunction
Step 3 Use a free autoresponder to build a list. A good list is an
essential component of any successful Internet business.
A good list will double or triple the amount of money that
you will make over the long term.

Step 4 Use a free service to collect and process
payments such as PayPal if you aren’t using
Clickbank or other affiliate sites.
Step 5 Use free techniques such as free ads, video,
and web 2.0 sites to market your website, subscriber
list and affiliate products.
(Hint – Buy Quick Video Marketing)
Step 6 Repeat step 5 over and over and over until
you are making more money than you need.
Step 7 After succeeding with step 6, pay someone
to repeat steps 5 and 6 again and again and again.

P.S. Yes, It’s midnight and I’m posting to my blog.
Why? Because this is a passion for me, not a JOB,
and I honestly care about my subscribers.
It’s part of WHO I am not WHAT I DO. Best of luck to you!
P.P.S. Leave a comment for me about what Your Passions are
and how you are living or working to attain them.

Jeff, great content man, a lot of people are looking to get on the internet to make money and this is a great audio as well as a list for the new internet marketer…keep up the great work!

Great tips for newbies! (I haven’t gone through the entire thing yet, but I have begun, and it is good.
And it is funny that you are mentioning about posting on your blog when it is midnight, and it is actually 1:00AM in the morning where I live, and I have class at 10:00 tomorrow! I am addicted to internet marketing, and I was spending time writing up some reports for my customers!
My passion is helping others to achieve success. I am currently a mentor to about 10 people, and I am helping them to achieve success online and I am only 18! I also just finished my first product, which teaches about how to gain Google rankings because people requested I create it. I actually had no intention of ever working in the IM niche, but then people asked me if they could pay me to help them because I offered some tips on a forum! I am now trying to see how many success stories I create.
I love the emails saying “I Got My First Sale!” from the people I am helping. Even though you can’t live off one sale, I know that my processes work, because I am using them to make money, and I love to hear when they are working for other people.
I have only been in internet marketing for 2 months, so I have not generated any success stories where people I coached made $30,000 or anything like that, but I am still helping people and that is why I LOVE what I do!
In fact, I didn’t eat dinner until 9:45 because I was on MSN Messenger helping a guy to understand some concepts so that he could get his business started. (My sister was not happy with me, because I promised to cook dinner – I do almost all the cooking in my house)
So that is my passion and what I am doing!
Have a great day!

Dear jeff i want to thank you SO much for your generosity in sharing this information. I have purchased your program and have been working through it, yet this audio has been ecxeptionally helpful to get me going.
My goal is to market my own information. I have tons of passion, dedication by the bucket load as well as incentive and time to make things work, yet the exceptionally stong down side i have been working through is what has scuppered my efforts so far, and you covered some of them in the show. My feedback may help both yourself and others.
1. I have a tendancy to do everything at once. This is a new playing field in which I have had many skills to aquire. This has felt overwhelming at times.
The complexity of what is needed to make this work, and then you try to make that work and you find actually you need this first.
For example – there has been the uploading of the video, at last I can get it to my PC, yet have difficulty getting the right conversion for you tube. How to attatch lists and webpages to this, they are the fine working details that are such a confusing minefield to the non computer geek, and I dont wan’t to fall prey to the poorer quality service!
2. I had strong emotional resistance to succeed which would be only too happy for me to go on and do more research, yet not persevere with precise action. I am slowly eliminating this, yet it has been huge.
Your audio has given me renewed hope of focus, yet would welcome some exceptionally detailed how to’s.
I taught painting and drawing for about 30 years. My students were amongst my greates teachers because they would ask me “How do you do that?” I would have to stop and think how I could convey that information, of something I do on autopilot, for them to replicate, in a way that they can have a successful outcome.
Again many thanks Jeff for your gifts.

Jeff…
Dude… It’s people like yourself and Frank (Mr Floppy Hair Himself) that help make it happen for people like me (also Mr Floppy Hair).
I have to be honest with you. The free stuff you guys have given away puts most of the stiff I’ve paid for to shame.
I’ve purchased alot of things to help promote my off•the•wall guitar course and man I’m not kidding, your stiff just wins the prize. I’ll be in on the next product I’m sure.
Thanks for all the great advice.
