You are obviously a serious guy when it comes to having fun while you help people change their lives. But what separates you from other Internet Marketers and so-called “GURUS” is that you really know what you’re talking about, and your common-sense, “everyday do a little something positive for yourself” approach to teaching is very refreshing, and effective. I should know, I’m a Professor (and former U.S. Special Agent) who teaches using this same approach.

There are so many Instant and Easy Videos being created in minutes from articles, backgrounds, images and video snippets, screen shots, etc.. it’s like too easy for most people to grasp.
Nobody seems to take it seriously enough to believe it really is the biggest money-maker to come along OVER 2 YEARS AGO…longer if you’re “in the know” – YOU KNOW! I wonder what’s up now – there’s always something more and even better that we don’t know, yet!!
I got tired of that email warning with the same old pictures about cell phones exploding on chargers so I had this video made just to see how it would turn out… http://www.ez-1.net/cell Great if you’re into selling batteries but it’s so simple to upload and embed and for local search it’s even better!

Power Point / Keynote / Camtasia are rather expensive. For those on a budget, you can use free alternatives.

Being an Ex Military guy myself(Navy)that worked with various Airwing squadron’s, I really appreciate your step by step commonsense checklist approach. My intial love of video came as a result of using simple videos to promote Affiliate clickbank products however
After going thru one to many downsizing’s as a result of various companies Mergers and Acquistions, I decided to use my Internet Marketing Knowledge to help small businesses advertising efforts as you mentioned here. I’ve developed videos in both a “Powerpoint Slideshow” and “Live version formats” see examples below,

While I get the techie side well enough, the challenge as I see still remains in
1)Finding enough clients paying for advertising and
2)Finding reliable people I can continue to “outsource” the video marketing function to, which includes Traffic Geyser, TubeMogul Distribution and more…social bookmarking etc.
In the past I did everything myself, but at this point I raised my rates to accomodate various outsource vendors and am focusing solely on client development. I prefer to outsource the video marketing(syndication) portion to someone who already has the tools and proven experience vs me having to continually learn the techie side.
I’ve been successfull so far in doing 1 hour workshops for local biz owners via “community banks”. Great response rate, but you may or may not end up with prospects that have an advertising budget, so the evolution continues.
To that end do you think it’s a good idea to focus soley on a certain industry and sub niches within that industry vs going after many different businesses? Seems like if your well enough known in a couple of industries then you can template the work and edit for each new client vs having to learn about new industries continually…
I do apologize for the long post but Video Marketing is a big component of what are company is promoting and I value your opinion on this.

p.s. loved you tip in video #2 about using Kall8.com & a branded URl that you own to setup a “pay per call” video. We are incorporating those strategies in a couple of “Joint Venture” arrangements that are coming soon to make sure we can validate payment for our services.

Good content. I would advise that folks check the terms of service if using Animoto in this way. You are actually supposed to have an account per business, i.e. you can’t really do these with your own account. Sad but true.
Also, a free alternative to Traffic Geyser is TubeMogul. Not as extensive, but it does cover a number of sharing sites. I tend to upload to Youtube separately to take advantage of some other internal linking opportunities like video responses and so on.

Since you seem to not be pleased with my post I’d thought I’d fill you in on the background. These videos were recorded in Feb or March but did not go out due to scheduling conflicts, and unfortunately for me, after the IM market decided this was a HOT Niche to explore.
I’ve been DOING this “stuff” in the Small Biz specific market for the past 18 months now. Every marketer is on the boat because this is a hot market and they want to sell you something to give you the theory behind it and move onto the next hot topic.
InnovativeMarketingSeminars.com was created last Jan ( Jan 2009 ) and was never officially “released” because of the income stream I had coming in with it last summer.
I know what works, what failed, and how to position the offers to make the sales work smoothly in the small business niche. Plus my business partners in my upcoming release for this niche have had their own sites on top of the search engine for several years…in a competitive market.
As for what’s next…
More Software, CPA Marketing, Even More Small Business Marketing, and eventually some List building ( I’m holding a special event this Mon on that)…and as usual, there should be plenty of solid juicy stuff for FREE to keep everyone happy.

First off – thank you for your service. Navy vet myself, served while you were in diapers, love flying myself. T birds & Red bull air race fan. Have you tried R/C ?? It’s a blast!! A friend of mine in Anthem AZ now flying drones for military, a result of being an ace R/C pilot.
Wow, for the money, you offer great value. This is exactly what I was hoping to go into as a change from the last 28 years as a contractor (body getting worn out). A ton of info, overwhelmed at the moment cause I want to get this rolling yesterday already, so trying to slow up and carefully listen to every bit of what you have available. Like you, I don’t like to waste my time. I’m more into making things happen.
I’ve been a net geek since it’s infancy, same for computers. Everything changes so fast these days. You have educated me on a few programs I didn’t know of.
I knew something was up, you speak too well. Public speaking training paid off.
